well, everyone is right. The cc rep is right, you can run the neus at 50k rpm all day- with a proper load. And everyone here at RCM is right. Less battery or less gear will drop your temps. But mostly, listen to Linc. Dropping the gearing will lighten the load and allow you to keep your high winding setup. It's "cool" to gear for 60mph but pretty impractical. You need a BIG space to go that fast and it's out of site in a second. Gearing for 45ish is plenty for me and I play real hard. Also playing with the punch control on the MMM can tame your wheelies down.
