That would be me
Since then I have had one other time practicing where I just seemed to loose throttle or brakes and the car just coasted. After the first time at the track I wrapped the RX in tin foil thinking it might be the Spektrum. Still don't know for sure what the problem was. I had steering on the second time and I was only about 15 feet from the vehicle. After about 15 seconds it ran just fine. No temp issues either.
