A 1940 seems to be similar in size to a 1512 or a c50 L can. I have used an aveox 36/30 motor (similar to a 1512) in a revo with success. I was using the 2 speed and mech brakes though, so less load. I currently run my slayer conversion with a c50 l can and it does fine. Using motor brakes and the tranny locked in second. The slayer is lighter than a revo and has smaller/lighter tires. I am sure a 1940 would be fine if it was geared correctly in a lighter MT.

My plett maxx w/fan seems to do fine in the emaxx, and it is a similar size to a 1940/1512 motor.
