No matter what, there's gonna be a lot of waste; after all, you gotta start with a block of aluminum. And I don't know if it has to be any thicker since al is stronger than plastic to begin with, not to mention the turned-up edges.
But yeah, it probably will be quite expensive. I guess the question then becomes: how bad do you really want it? |
