This truck was my inspiration too largely, though I never did bother with a single central motor mount in the end, too much hassle. Liking the battery stops, those look rather nifty

Buy some lipos though- get the zippies, cheap and awesome specs- you'll be blown away by the power and speed compared to those old nimhs...
