Project-X Cordless Drill!!! - 11.08.2008, 03:55 PM

I put this in the Projext-X forum because it is somewhat extraordinary.

It started life as a Craftsman Professional 24V Hammerdrill. I treated it well for a few years and then I went and got it stuck in a chunk of Al with a 1/2" bit in the chuck... *poof*

So anyways I couldn't get a new FET module for it so I decided I would go the extra mile. I finished making the motor mount/adapter plates yesterday. It turned out well; normally when I drill this many holes by hand they don't line up like they're supposed to...

It's a KB45 10XL, Turnigy Plush 80A ESC, and I'll use my FP 6s 5000 LiPo. I just need to get the 12T 32P 6mm bore pinion and figure out how/where to mount the servo tester throttle. The battery will attach to the bottom just like the original, albeit in a different case.
