Is your stuff too hot thread? - 11.21.2008, 01:49 PM

I seen a long time ago a thread saying what to do if a certain component is running hot. I have searched and searched and cant find it any more. Basically my ESC is going thermal.

Specs:
RC10B4 Factory Team
21/81 Gearing
CMS 5700kv Castle Motor (about 135 when thermals)
Sidewinder ESC (seen 210 when thermals)(i know this is hot)
2s 4900mah trakpower (didn't even bother cause they were not even warm to the touch)

I am pretty sure i need to gear down some but just want to make sure before i make huge changes. It has been forever since i had to tinker with heat and gearing. Thanks guys.

I fly, I drive, but most of all I crash.
