Gave the LS10 a new body and it's taken a shine to having its belly scoured - 12.21.2008, 05:03 PM

Had some time to get a body painted over the last couple of days. Not sure if a I like the gold on it and the black was suppose to be a charcol and the Candy apple red is well Candy apple red at the right angle and lighting. It looks just like black and red in the pictures. But hey I don't have to wear it. I retired the Nikko body I was using on it.

Making the little fellow wear it probably messed him up for life. Think if your parents sent you to school everyday dressed like Angus Young. Yeah.

While I had it out I took the drill and wire brush to the bottom again. I experimented with some spray on protectant a while back and the stuff ended up turning the bottom a diffierent shade. So I roughed it up again. Wierd but I thought I heard purring but when I stopped the drill the purring stopped.

While I was cleaning up the work area I found some lexan peices from back when I was practicing to make a lexan slipper. To replace the glass one of course. I dusted them off and figured they didn't look to bad from a distance so. I put them on it also. I still need to add the battery straps to the battery tray and some cushion either on the lipos themselve or the trays.

Looking over the pictures now I realize the paint job looks better from a little farther aways. Should of taken some long distant shots to post.
