jato to corr truck - 04.11.2009, 07:58 AM

i'm in despret need of a project, so I picked this up after a few mock ups, I think I can convert it to use a slash body

the list:
*custom chassis: what alloy?? the exact phrasing that a metal wholesaler would understand.

*custom front axils, based off of the rustler/pede/slash ones, except shorter, again, what alloy?? I'm going to use the rear hubs from a slash as spindles.

*custom motor mount, I'm thinking of just cuting an e-maxx on up, but IDK

any ideas for a layout?? the chassis will be about an inch or 2 longer.

still debating on a power sorce, but I have a new tekin RX8 coming soon so mabey a novak HV motor?? cheap, and just big enough to get the job done.

I have access to a full metal shop, and best of all, I can get all the metal dirt cheap its a tech-ed project

the bigest problem will be mounting the bumpers...

one minor problem, the front will still be 1/8-1/4in too wide overall after everything, any ideas?? I'll cut the body a bit before I run a set of hacked up rustler arms on it like they did on the trx forums

post your ideas and opinions
