Hey Darren...

I would say that you may be better off getting a savage flux. It will handle the abuse of hard bashing better than an erevo will. But the erevo will do better on the track... So it is all about what you want to do with the truck.

The savage has better diffs, a full metal geared tranny, steel driveshafts and hubs, and a stronger chassis.

The erevo has better suspnsion and a lower weight, plus the battery trays place that weight lower so the overall cg is lower.

For bashing I would go with the savage. I had 2 erevos and sold them, as my lst and savages are stronger. I hate buying upgrade parts just to fix weakness. I run all of my trucks as stock as possible, one or two hopus are ok, but I am not into dumping money into the drivetrain if it is not strong enough. Unless you keep the erevo very light it will kill the diffs.
