Need some help from the local gurus... - 05.20.2009, 01:14 PM

I currently own one 1/8 brushless truck- savage Flux- and I came to the conclusion I'd like to try a truggy and sell the Flux (It is very modified to be near truggy-like ...more on that later).

So... I dont want to spend any money that I do not have to because my wife is getting seriously fed up with my toy spending. I guess bad economic times does this lol. What recession? So yeah, I need to lose the Flux to make another truck feasable to avoid divorce. With that said, I am looking for the best - most durable - and lightest truggy money can buy for that winning combo. It has to bash with the best of them, and be able to win a race the next day.

1. I like airplane escs like hv110 or turnigy maybe. Is it worth having this esc even if I need mech. brakes?

2. best motor possible to handle everything I throw at it. I want flexibility to bash and then hit 80mph on 10s if I ever desired.

3. longer the better. LWB I feel suits brushless better.

I know everyone will have opinions but I am not looking to win ifmar... i'm looking for a truggy that can impress me beyond expectations.

Thanks
