I had my outrunner .5 sitting for awhile, and I wanted to get it running again, sk I thought an inrunner setup would breathe new life into this lil thing. I got a jato and it came with 4 extra shocks and extra springs, so I took advantage of that. I also had to make a servo hold down out of a piece of the weakest aluminum alloy known to man. It works great though, and the 2-piece mount I got from Chris (thanks!) makes it look a little better. It's kinda like having a fat friend; whenever you're walking around with him it makes you look skinnier and more attractive.
no front bumper gives it the 8th scale buggy look
front shocks with white green springs, running brand new $8 HXT 12kg servo
rear shocks with red green springs
2-piece motor mount - this thing protects things from rubbing against the spur, great design
I'll be running a medusa 50-3300 with this baby, and I'll try the stock tires with this battery and see how it goes.
With the pro version extended chassis and 10th scale tires, it looks almost 10th scale next to the jato
I'm running after run oil in the shocks.(lol) Will this deteriorate the plastic?
