Ok guys I spent a day at the shop with mike hanging and doing some fab... while I made some crawler links mike converted my G3R with the center mount...
The good news - In the end we fitted in a 48T spur so a 46T slipperential is not going to be an issue. the bad news - This conversion took mike the best part of 3-4 hours to complete excluding strip down and rebuild... It involves a lot of tight measuring, jig set and machine recalibration... i can see why he doesn't like doing it. You basically get one shot at drilling the base chassis plate. Pics up soon |
