Back to electric cars... SSC (Shelby SuperCars) of USA have their Ultimate Aero EV coming this year. 1000hp and IIRC, around 3000lbs, that is quite a bit higher power/weight ratio than our powerful Bl R/C's, and it can actually put it down to the ground.

Funny thing you mentioned SSC. They did get funds from a company, but I have yet to see the car. I hope they can back what they're saying, it would be nice.
