I am looking to purchase a new UE monoblock, but noticed this in the product description -
"
**update 9-12-09 We are running a batch of these now. Due to increases in material costs there has been a small increase in the price of these. We expect them to be complete sometime between mid and late February so I'm opening them up for a Pre-Order. As most of you know a credit card authorization has a 30 day shelf life and while the act of placing an order triggers the authorization we don't normally complete the charge until we ship the item. Because this may be more than 30 days, we will begin completing the order before the authorization expires even though we don't have the item yet. When we do, we'll generate a label too and have all the paperwork ready for parts. What all this means is that if you place an order today and we don't get them complete within 30 days we will charge your card and generate a shipping label. Then as soon as parts are done we'll ship them. By placing a pre-order you agreed to this. I don't think this will be an issue because I expect them to be done on time."
I noticed the date is 9-12-09, which has to be a typo, maybe this was back in 08? Anyway, my question is, if I order one of these monoblocks, will it ship right away or is this a pre-order kind of thing? It says "In Stock" on the UE site also...
