The revo is 14.5 * and your gears are 20* They may fit each other because the revo gear has smaller teeth but it isnt exactly right like it should be. So a mod 1 is not a mod1 is not a mod 1. Sorry but these are the facts. |
Interesting info!! I don't know what to say.......First, I don't know where you found the Revo spur info as I can not find it anywhere!! Second and most importantly I think, I don't think anyone here has ever had a problem mixing different brands of gears with each other. I say that because I am sure that different brands have different manufacturers producing gears and these discrepencies may exist between brands. So in short, I think you are looking into it too deeply. I can see this as a possible problem in a precision mechanism.....but a pinion/spur combo??? What I can say is there are bigger problems to worry about with a high speed car build than this! Good luck with the build!!
