I see no issue with the HW setup on 4s lipo, just gear it appropriately.
The Hvmaxx motors dont really need bigger batts, they do fine with mid-range lipis as they are only 380XL motors in 550XL clothing- you just have to gear down ALOT to get the correct wheel speed- they also do well on 3s lipo, but if 4s is what you got, then the 6.5 motor would be the one to play with, see how it does.
