New MMM2200 combo -
10.20.2009, 10:38 PM
I have a G4 Chassis, FLM hybrids with HB lightning diffs (13/43), and RPM all around. Went running for the first time today with the new MMM2200 on dual 5s 30c 3600 packs. It was quite impressive, but quit a few times, the first of which was driving off my deck, the esc quit. I usually just drive down the stairs, and when the chassis hit the first step, the MMM quit, no lights on the esc. I pushed it down the steps and it rearmed. This happened a couple times on some flips as well. Seems a jarring caused the ESC to lose power. Don't know why, all power connections are perfect (and new). Is this what is referred to as cogging? I assumed cogging was a jumpy movement at slow speed. I am quite happy with the slow speed performance.
Has anyone ever experienced this with the lights off on the esc? It doesn't appear to be the switch either, usually just rolling it fwd a bit will cause the esc to come back on. This is brand new out of the box.
I will probably go run it a bit more tomorrow, had to make new battery straps today, as the ones I made didn't work out like I hoped. Got it now though.
Thanks
Troy
I am now free to exercise my downward mobility
