waterproofing a castle creations esc - 04.01.2010, 09:13 AM

Brian, or any other castle tech support, can you please explain to everyone about the current situation with waterproofing techniques and why they are bad. when i called customer support someone explained to me why both plastic dip and corrosion x are bad to do, but i don't remember every detail of what he told me, and many people are interested in/trying to do these methods.

also can you tell us (as i was told) about castles current development of a waterproof esc? i was told that the esc's are already water resistant, due to something put on the esc at the factory, but that traxxas has asked castle to try to develop a waterproof esc the size of the monster. is this true? if it is how soon can we expect to see it on market?

thanks, any help in this would be much appreciated, as i know MANY of us want to drive our trucks through mud and water without worrying about popping our expensive esc's.
