Indeed! A (adjustable) brace to support the rear of the motor.
And some holes will be used to mount the ESC-mount.

Also, the upright motor-mount will be cross-braced to the chassis. In one of the pics in the first post you can see the hole in the motor-mount.

The x-braces alone have some flex, but with the lower plate it is pretty rigid, IMHO. But you are right, extra support wont hurt.

Still a concern might be the area where I had to modify the x-braces to make room for the spur.... maybe I'll brace this too.
