Your thoughts on Cash for Clunkers.... Lawn Mower Style?

I also cut trails with the mower as well, so it doesn't get the 'best' treatment either. Sits outside in the winter doesn't help...

Dieing cells might be a problem down the road I guess... I suppose there has to be a long term test of a proper built electric vs. gas.

One idea is a battery pack that powers several units, such as both the mower and the weed wacker, or whatever yard equipment you can think of that would need a roughly equal sized battery, that way you are using the cycle life of the pack, raking up more cycles throughout the calender life, making it more economical.

Has anyone heard of the supposedly 'Over unity' magnetic monopole motor/generator that was demonstrated at Delft University (Netherlands)? He also went to Munich and I am not sure if you will come to the US or up here in Canada. So far looks good, the Professors there seem optimistic, although, there is still a chance it could be a fake/fraud... let's hope not.
