Eloggers V3 maximum spike amps? - 09.13.2010, 10:05 PM

I'm interested in purchasing a Eagle Tree Elogger V3 150A model but I need to know what the maximum spike amps the logger can record. I estimate that my 5s Jammin CRT X1 setup will pull no more than 162A (1518 1Y 1800kV motor rated at 3,000W peak power and 18.5V under load). The Elogger is only rated to 150A, but I'm unsure if this is maximum continuous or maximum peak current rating.

I also looked into the Eagle tree RC car data recorder, however you have to purchase the current sensor seperatly and the 300A sensor is $129 . Plus I can get two temp sensors and a brushless RPM sensor all for $118...way less than the car data recorder.

If anyone has experience with this logger on a 1/8th scale truggy I'd love to know your findings.
