Opening a Neu 1509 1.5D 4500kv - 09.16.2010, 05:44 AM

Hi guys,

I'm using this motor in combination with a Mamba Max on my Hyper Mini STe on 2S 5A 20C LiPo's. The only problem is that the ESC is running way to hot for my likings. I'm guessing this is because the car feels like it has massive drag.

So I changed the settings on the ESC to 0% dragbrake (what I always run) but I still felt no change. I removed the motor from the car and the roller was smooth. Conclusion: I think it's the motor. I have a 1512 2.5D 2050kv and a 1515 1Y 2200kv and both turn smoother than my 1509 when rotating the shaft.

So I was thinking the drag comes from the motor, so I wanted to take it apart to look inside but there's one little problem; I can't open it up

There are no screws what so ever, so how do I remove the endbell ?

Thanks!!
