Problems with MGM 160 controller, need help

I am having problems with mine and I was wondering if anyone else's is doing the same?

1-When I brake if I go straight from throttle to brake it acts normal, but if I hesitate @ Neutral and then go to brake it slams on the brake violently.

2-When I let off the throttle and go to Neutral it engages the brake for a brief moment. Like when you are going off a jump, the brake taps on and the nose will come slamming down. It doesn't do this every time, there seems to be no pattern to it.

My settings on the controller are as follows:
Car mode one way
brake light
timing automatic
automatic brake off
freewheel on

I would appreciate any input.
