I posted my Evo on the traxxas forum a few months ago.
Here's a link with pics:

I have been racing this against the nitros since Jan and have had good success. The driver needs some work though ;)

I made some upgrades. I added corbon fiber push rods, aluminum shock rod ends and a RD quick turn to mention a few.

I tried using GP2200's last week to shed some weight (almost a pound) and they worked great. I was able to make it through the 12 minute main without issue. With the 2200's the truck wighed 11 pounds 2.3oz.

I also mounted a plate to the stock transmission and am using a Robinson double disc slipper clutch and 65T steel spur instead of the 1.0m stock spur. I had to shave some material off of the chassis to get the clearance for the 65T spur.
To get close to the gear ratio I had before I am using a 24T pinion and a 65T spur. This settup is great. I'll need to take some new pics to show off the motor mount plate.

cheers
