my zcar /LRP Truggy build - 06.11.2011, 04:14 PM

so finally I decided to do an other truggy build and decided to go for the LRP S8 TX Team Truggy , aka Zcar aka ??, as the race roller was on sale.

Again I wanted to do as much as possible by my self.

The battery Tray is made of Kydex, the motor mount is made of aluminium and epoxyde/gfk.

the motor mount is very stiff and has a good heat-transfer to the chassis. It works very well, no problems what so ever.

It does not look that new anymore...

A losi smart diff is ordered, I miss my torsen as center diff. But its too long and so I got the smart diff which will fit. If you once used a LSD, you always want one.

Motor is a Tenshock X801 with 1900kv and the xerun 150, finally after some damaged hk150a and damaged Leopard.

the fan for the motor is for the hot weather we had recently here in Hamburg.

the car is just fantastic, very direct to drive, and can handle even very heavy bumps. I love it
