I pulled the diff's out on the rc8t and lst2 today. I put the diff, pinion and cvd cup from the losi into the AE. The pinion needs some shimming and minor dremeling but it should work fine. The AE cv shaft fits nicely in the losi cvd cup. The cup is a couple of mm shorter but there's enough play at the other end to soak it up.

I'm not 100% but I beleive the lst2 uses the same size diffs as the truggy/buggy so I would think the smartdiff should fit as well.
