Had to flip the battery boxes to make more room(battery mounting bracket are slightly asymmetric) and because of the diameter i had to mount the esc at the bottom of the motor plate.. I think both of those mods are an advantage, not only to make more room for the motor but also makes the battery access easier, and becouse of the esc location there is no more wire rubbing against the body.
Compare to other chassies on the marked these modds are like nothing
Regarding pinion size im not 100% sure to be honest.. One thing i know that 18 gets in there easy and 25 does not.
I have some 21 and 22t pinions on order and i think\hope they will fitt (pretty sure they will), besides i also have the high speed idle gear and if needed i could mount an smaller spur and bigger tire.
But i think 21-21 will fit, maybe even some larger ones(ore not
).
