Sidewinder Micro ok for brushed motor? - 12.27.2011, 01:04 AM

Here is what I am planning:

I have a Tamiya 10th scale cr-01 chassis that I would like to use indoors to entertain my 11 month old daughter. Currently it has the stock "silver can" motor (pretty sure it is a 27turn single). I would like to use the sidewinder micro with a 2s lipo to run the motor. I will have it geared as low as possible, as speed is the last thing I want.

So I am wondering if the sidewinder micro will be up to the task... Not even sure if it can be run in brushed mode like the larger escs, can it?

Also, will the internal bec be ok for use with a traxxas 2055, tuning light 1.9 size tires?

Thanks!
