I wanted a simple way to run 100mph, so I bought a hyper 8.5 with a 2650 in it. For normal running I gear for 50mph on 4s. If I want, I can throw on a big pinion and 6s and run 100. I don't need custom spools or crazy gearing setups to run 100mph. Isn't that fast enough?

A 2200 can achieve a higher overall top speed given enough room and wacky gearing, but they are out of sight by that time.

I can't wait to see some triple digit speeds fellas!
To me:
Speedrun ~300ft
Dragrace ~132ft or whatever distance agreed upon. My son and I do 78ft drag races. Tons of fun with crt.5.
Top speed ~ whatever I'm happy with, which is 70-75mph. I don't have space for anything faster. Don't have time really to got out, just to do some triple digit speeds.

So by me having a limitation of speed and distance, I have to get creative to get more out of my cars. That is why Mike Revo spool will be a nice asset to have. I get to use cheap plastic spurs and save my pinions from getting eaten up so quick. Plus get to us a wider variety of motors and no loud gears to disturb the neighbors at 11pm.
