Thanks for the info! Glad it's working well for you now and that you reported about UBEC/link issue, hadn't heard of that before. Wondering whether the root cause of the issue is that the ESC does not have its own power switch? If so, then the issue might apply in general to other ESCs of which the power switch has been removed (quite common for users to do with mamba max pros and mamba monsters) or where the switch is left in the ON position.

Very nice driving with the Porsche, what's the weight and no-load wheel-speed you have it geared for and how much Power are you putting though on average in those ~7 min? Can imagine the ESC needs to work quite hard there :).

EDIT:
Just confirmed that hooking up a Q-base ESC (rebranded Mamba Max Pro) with removed powerswitch (i.e., always in ON position) to the Castle Link, does indeed result in 3.9V Voltage on the power leads. So would any load be connected to the leads (fans, BECs, etc.), Current would flow. I think that's something to be aware of :).
