battery question for mini-t -

stock battery is 7.2v. I was looking at Radio Shack the other day and saw 2400mAh 9.4v, BUT the exact same size as the Mini-t cells. And they are only $10. (clearance)
will a 9.4 do damage to a stock Mini-T???? |
