Finest lipo charger around - 06.16.2006, 03:39 PM

I'm about to get my lipo setup, but I got a few things to confirm:
I'm thinking of getting the Schulze 330d-RS charger with my Lipo batts (90% possibility 2x 3s1p Evo20 or Evo30- new formulation-) and Duralite 2-6s Balancer.

My problem is whether or not the Schulze charger would be enough to charge 6s 3700mah pack. The isl 330d-rs puts a maximum current of 5.5 amps in comparison to the Thunder Power 10s charger which, as far as I know, can put 10 amps of charging current. Can I get a great performance with the 330d charger or am I going to be more satisfied with the TP?

Lipos are supposed to be greater than nimh in terms of energy density and electric 'punch', but why do they always say that its better to charge lipos like a 3700mah at 3.7 amps and not 5 or 6 amps like the nimh?!

If I charge a 2s1p 3700mah lipo pack at 3.7 amps and a 6 celled 3700 nimh pack at 6 amps, which one would beat the other?

Finally, if you say that the Schulze isl330drs is better than the TP 10s charger, then what is your reasons? And what is your reasons for saying that the TP 10s charger is better than the isl330drs charger?

Thanks, and sorry for the long winded questions.
