New Guy, New Interest. - 07.09.2006, 06:08 AM

Alright I'd just like to say thanks for stopping by to take a look at my thread guys. Now just to catch you all up I love(d) my Nitro Revo, LOVED IT... ran 6 gallons through it. I was always looking for more power, even with the weak 2.5 tuned to the brink of explosion! lol so I started reading into brushless technology here and there, and finally stumbled upon this kick ass website, and some nice useful forums as well. Watched a few videos and Nitro was no longer interesting. I want to build a BL Revo with little to no worry about cost. My uncle a fdellow basher is a complete non-believer in lipo and BL tech. So I'd really like to just blow his socks off when he sees this beast!

Heres what I plan on using:
1950 (which turn? I want it to run cool)
2 2s12000mah packs from maxamps (Im looking for run time here as well as power) wired for voltage
Quark 125B
1 HD airtronics for steering.
extended stock chassis (some tweaks, and a couple machined pieces for batteries)
lighthened of course with new push rods, rocker posts, linkages, and tires.

Sorry to ramble Sylvester already gave me some good info, I would just like to hear some feed back before I spend 1000 bucks for the electronics.
Maybe Im forgetting some things? Stock drivetrain till it breaks, i dont care how long or short that takes, I wanna break it :)
How should I gear this? (tranny locked in 2nd gear)
thats about it... I think lol

thanks
MB
