Power hungry - 04.26.2005, 10:45 PM

I want to upgrade the brushless motor in my MBX-5 buggy from my maxcim N32 2400kv (18-20cells) motor to something with even more power. I was thinking of going ultra high voltage so I would have massive power and long run times. It seems that the Lehner Basic XL 1200 Brushless motor would do the trick with 65,000 RPM running at 40 cells or 1 6s lipo on each side of the buggy (total of 2 6s)

It looks like I could use the Astro Flight 207D or the Hacker Master/Navy 77 but I don't think they can't handle the full potential of the xl1200...

Is the Schulze 40-160 my only option to handle that much voltage or can the BK 30150 handle this?

I want a setup that will blow away the nitro 1/8th buggies.

I'd appreciate any thoughts or help on this.
