Terrible glitching w/ UBEC and FM reciever... cures? - 10.15.2006, 01:50 PM

I'm getting terrible range and glitching when I'm trying to use my JR r135 FM Rx's w/ a BEC with my ERevo. I had the problem with the UBEC I bought here, and still the next one I bought when that one died. I'm getting only ~30ft of range and runaways, strange steering etc.

Oddly enough, I am not having the same trouble when I am using a cheap 27mhz AM Rx. Well that's to say I only get mild problems when the car is over 100 yards away. No steering wierdness ever....sigh...

When I hook up a Rx pack, I get no glitching, the FM rx's are fine (I've used two diff Rx of same model and same result.) I am using the other r135 Rx in my BL rustler w/ no problems (using int. BEC.)

Is there an easy soln? Could hooking up a cap help solve this? Its really disappointing to not be able to use a good radio (w/ brake and trav adj, etc..)

The Rx are in the rear of the Revo over the shocks and the wires are routed as far away from power wires as possible, FYI.
