It depends on the hardware version of the controllers. version 1 is 12mhz and version 2 is 24 mhz.

With the airplane controllers they are talking about 12 and 24 mhz (12 for the 36120/36150 and 24 for the 3670 and 3695)

Mike; could you please email BK to ask if they have got a 36120 in 24mhz?

I can't find the right user manual right now, but i once read about these controller handling a much higher rpm range on a two pole motor. I'm going to search for that right away.
