Will shortly heating up the engine really demagnetize such strong magnets?

Marc.
The Novaks and the Pletty's have their windings on an iron core (like an armature turned inside out), where others have the windings pressed in the can without the cores. where the iron cores come close to the rotor, it will attract the magnet and will want to stay when you turn, that's where the hard spot occurs.

The general consensus here is you never go beyond 200 degrees or massive demagnetizing will occur, Maybe not in a single run, but over time the magnets life will shorten. It's kind of like Lipo's, you can charge at 2 and maybe 3c and discharge at 20c constant, but due to their nature, it might shorten their life if taken to their max over a set time

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise
