***Emaxx...newbie needs help with setup...just bought some stuff*** - 02.05.2007, 05:10 AM

hey guys. i'm absolutely new to the RC world. this stuff is amazing. i think i may go broke this year. :-) anyway...a few of my friends bought emaxxs and i just picked one up on ebay. waiting for it to come in. it's coming with aftermarket parts. please help with recommendations. what would you keep on it...what would you get rid of? what upgrades do you recommend? i'm willing to spend more so let me have it. here's what i will be getting...

E-Maxx Truck RTR w/Manual and original box
Toolbox w/ Tools and lots of extra parts
4 3300mah Batteries with Dean Connectors
3 Bodies, Stock Body, Gravedigger, Hummer H2 SUT
3 Sets of Wheels/Tires, Stock Set, Beadlock Wheels w/Swamp Dawg Tires, 40-series street tires
intellipeak pulse twin battery charger

parts already on truck...
Integy Aluminum Chassis Brace
Integy Aluminum Piggyback Shocks MSR5
Integy Aluminum Front Bulkhead
Integy Aluminum Front & Rear shock towers
Integy Aluminum Gearbox Collar
Integy Aluminum Rear skid plate
Integy Aluminum Transmission Skid plate
Integy Aluminum body mount posts
Integy Titanium Front skid plate
Aluminum Servo guard
Aluminum Wheelie Bar
Aluminum Bumpers
Alloy Heatsink Set
RPM A Arm Set

not installed...
Integy Aluminum racing upper and lower a-arms

any other recommendations as far as websites with good info, magazines i should keep up with?

side question...what's an inexpensive fun rc car i can buy for the house? it's a single story with no steps. i've got tile in all the walkways and low pile carpet in the living areas. maybe something i can use in the street/sidewalk/driveway also. a drift setup looked pretty fun.
