Ummm, sparks from any controller is NOT GOOD. Even though it still ran, I would definitely call Quark support and let them know what happened. Chances are you damaged one or more FETs and it'll just be a matter of time before something else has problems. Not to mention that running fewer FETs will cause more heat...

I'm well aware of this.. but, there's no warranty on the controller anymore, so what could they do? I figured I'd run it, and if it finally let out a big puff, that'd be that, and I'd have a shelf queen until the MoMax or Teken's MT controllers are released. Doubt Sky would replace it, seeing as I milled part of the case, and thermal epoxed the fets to a copper shim.. :eek:
