1700kv works very well on 4s... and I bet it's awesome on 5s.

On 4s, gear it about 3.5:1 to 4:1 on the pinion/spur.... (I have been running mine at 52/14 and it runs really good there)

Wow, I really like the setup there! That thing is pretty big then?!

What is the estimated top speed?

GD, have you tried the 1512 in the truggy? Just wondering if it will handle the extra weight or if I should get a 1515 for that and just run the 1512 in the buggy.
