right. There neews to be a washer inbetween the bearings in theknuckles, this will stop the rubbing.

As for the cvd's thats correct you will need the UE ext cvd's steel ones r plenty strong enuff. titanium or ott but u never no!
Many brushless users use titanium on rear and steel on front.

ahhhh, thanks! i knew the rubbing must be something i didn't do right. so the washer needs to go in between the 2 bearings, or just on the outside of the outer bearing (in between the outer bearing and the hex)?

i guess i'll have to get an order in for the UE ext cvd's. i also plan to get a UE titanium dogbone to replace the (too short) dogbone that comes with the FLM chassis. anyone know if this size is 100.5mm, or 105mm?
