I love my Quark, it's smooth. What helped me with programming is having one person read as you program. Or, read it several tiems prior to programming. I ran 5s and 4s, it was nice to run on either. I have a customized heat sink for mine, but you can get some good pics off another thread around here some where.

Yeah, the smoothness of the Quark is just oh so "JUICY". That is the best way I can describe it.
