There was a good thread at rcuniverse with patrick from castle and Bob Novak
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_54..._4/key_/tm.htm
Bob starts on page four and then patrick comes in.

I've got a question. When referring to the number of poles for an inrunner motor they are referring to the rotor, correct?

Does anybody happen to know how many poles the Great Planes Ammo motors have, specifically the 28-35 series?

I wondered that too, so I left a little ambiguity in the desc, but who really knows?

BTW, I'm not saying the 7XL is a bad motor, but in an app where the truck is v lg and heavy, low voltage, and geared the way it was, selling it to an inexperienced user is just really crappy.

Am I a RCM fanboi? Maybe, but RCM and Mike is extremely helpful w/ lots of info, provides good products and service, and is an overall boon to the BL hobby. Such a business I have no prob touting. :) Can't say the same of FD.

Ant company the won't pass along critical specs for a part they want to sell you can't be trusted in my opinion. I want to know what I'm buying before I shell out the hard earned cash!
