OK, I got the 1512 in the truck and took it out and ran it. What can I say? I should have listened. When will I learn? Either I got a bad motor or the 1512 1.5Y just isn't enough motor. The performance of the 9XL far exceeds that of the 1512 1.5Y. The XL has lots more torque. Maybe the 9XL that I got is just a stellar performer.

Really? I would have though they would be equal performance-wise.
What voltage were you running them? |
