Well, truggies are basically "suped-up" buggies as far as how they're built. Truggies have larger tires, usually a little more ground clearance, are geared a bit lower (diffs and maybe spur), a little wider wheelbase, a little heavier, and obviously use a truck body.

Depending on the MT, they do have a higher COG most of the time. MTs like the Revo are a bit better as they are designed more for the track in mind. Trucks like the Savage are meant to sit higher for even more ground clearance. Obviously, the more ground clearance you have, the higher the COG.

That said, you'll probably be more stable when bashing (or track pleasure-racing) a Truggy. Although, the best solution to remain off the roof is to drive better! :) Believe me, I know what you mean though; I thought about using tires big enough so that I can still drive if it flips over!

As far as I know, this problem was associated with a certain batch of gears that were put in some TQ kits. Apparently the EC kits are all good, so I assume this is a problem of the past.

BTW, we have one of the last TQs here that was sold by AMain, and the diffs seem to be good.
