i would not recommend putting the 5700 through that much voltage. it could have been just bad luck but i had my mm5700 motor up and running for a good 5 months and then all of a sudden the first time i try it on 12 cells the motor seized up... the motor was shot...

luckily castle has awsome customer support and i got a brand new motor free of charge..
