overheating issues?

Well, some have had good luck with Fine Design, but many have not. No sense in even debating it.

As for your setup, many are running the 7XL in the Revos with good results. How hot your setup will be depends a lot on your driving style and the ambient temperature of where you are. The 7XL does well for 4S setups.

If you are going with a 5S lipo setup, I'd look at a 9 or 10XL. My 9XL on 5S is insane in my 8ight T.

As for the esc, I like the Mamba Max for 4S. 5S on a MM is iffy. You should probably look at a Quark Monster Pro for 5S.
