I don't understand the question. You want to put an 8L into the truck just to make it go fast?

King, you asked the question and have gotten a response, but you seem to be trying to squeeze a nod out of us on putting an 8L into your truck.

Bud, do what you want. We're just telling you that it's going to get HOT quick. If you want to go fast, try a 7XL or even a 6XL. Either would be better than the 8L in a truck. Believe me, the 6 or 7XL is going to get plenty hot enough as it is.

I have an 8L. It's in my buggy right now. It's insanely fast. I went out to the lot last Thursday and whipped some Jato 3.3 butt with my 9lb buggy; but I couldn't run it for more than a few minutes at a time. Granted, it was haulin' but I wouldn't want to run it like that all of the time.

The same thing with your truck. If you want it to haul butt all of the time, you're going to have to look to something other than a Feigao motor on 4S lipo. Maybe if you had a 6S setup with a good efficient motor that could stay cool turning maybe 40,000 rpms then you could have a good solid setup that was fast all of the time and dependable; but you aren't going to get that for under $250.
