ok, this had kindove helped fuel my ideas. i think i will vut the nose off my battery box thing i threw together. and mount my receiver infront of the bateries. and the ESC where the throttle servo is suppose to be mounted.

i asked for some help at my LHS to make a battery mount. and they had a great idea but not shure if its possible. they suggested makeing a aliminm plate to fit snug aginst the chassis and somewhat match the way the chassis already is formed, then get an Air plane fuel cell and use that on the aluminm to make the battery box.

i was also wondering if any one has had a problem bending that little peice of chassis that will take the most of the Battery weight?

Yes, I had an issue where that one part (fuel tank holder) bent after jumping and crashing a lot. I'm not gentle on my toys. I added another angle bracket to that area to strengthen it up and haven't had a problem since.
